Since 2017, Alima Academy has been diligently creating educational opportunities for the heritage Tatars who live away from the indigenous lands and wish to learn, practice and improve the tongue of their parents and grandparents.
The Online Alima Academy tries to tackle the Tatar’s native language crisis by offering online synchronous instructions for the Tatar language learners of all levels, curated courses in Tatar literature, history, culture, and other educational programming. Discovering, supporting and manifesting own identity through keeping the native tongue has been trending. But resources are limited, especially, for the languages of stateless nations.
